Jessamine County Emergency Medical Service is continuing to set the bar high when it comes to STEMI (heart attack), stroke, and cardiac arrest care. We are so excited to announce that for the 6th year in a row we have received American Heart Association EMS Mission Lifeline Recognition. Achieving the highest designation possible – Gold Plus!
Not only have we received the highest designation, but we are one of five agencies in the state of Kentucky to have been recognized for six consecutive years! Our crews take great pride in continuously improving the care we provide, allowing for us to perform highly detailed quality assurance reviews. This constant drive to improve has made our service one of the best in the state, being one of few to submit to a national cardiac arrest registry. And we have seen firsthand the impact that our employees have had in this community when it comes to cardiac arrest care with the improvement we have seen in our numbers of neurologically intact cardiac arrest survivors.
We are proud of our employees. And we are proud to provide this county with some of the best pre-hospital care around.
